Here is my latest personal project, an attempt at showing an alien creature in its own environment.
I've tried to stay away from the usual alien look, and it was a lot of fun to design!

Here is my latest personal work. Something I wanted to try for a while now, as I am huge fan of "the Prince of Egypt" movie.
I tried to keep the model closer to the cartoonish proportions from the film but then using a more realistic render. This was also a personal pipeline test for me, using maya, mudbox and renderman.
Any comments are welcome.
Cheers!
here is a concept I did using Painter. I was asked to draw a creatre that lives on a planet with low atmosphere. The anatomy of this fellow is designed to get the most oxygen as possible in the air, and the liquid that is leaking from his face is just to prevent cerebral edema.
Hope you guys like it.

Hi all,

Here is a creature I have been working on at home for my own personal project.
When they're born, those creatures have very soft skin tissues, kind of lychee like flesh, and then their skin starts to get more rigid as they grow.
When they're very old (like this old lady), their bodies get covered with barks until they become totally rigid and can't move anymore.
Those creatures don't actually die but become part of their environment, as they are in total harmony with nature. She looks sad because she's watching her planet being destroyed without being able to do anyhing.
I used Maya, Mudbox, Bodypaint, Painter for the background, Renderman and Shake.
Comments are welcome,

Thanks!
